Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were small and in poor repair, with thin mattresses and tiny 'pillows'. However, the location was great, near the historic area of Kawama, making it convenient to explore. The service was lacking, with slow and rude staff, but the dining experience fell short with uninspiring food options. Despite the downsides, being able to walk to the strip was a plus.
The hotel location is outstanding, close to the town with great staff and people to meet. However, the rooms are tired, mismatched, and in poor condition, with cleanliness issues. The service is lacking, with maintenance and personnel issues, although the location is convenient for walking to the strip.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms definitely needed some work, but they provided a place to rest my head, even though the presence of cockroaches on the second day made it challenging to sleep. The rooms felt cozy and rustic, but were small and below par in my opinion, with thin mattresses and odd pillow-like towels. There was no balcony available.
The hotel had just enough space for two people, but I ended up upgrading for a larger room at an extra cost of $300 CDN. Unfortunately, the room wasn't anything special; it was a waste of money. We encountered cockroaches and ants everywhere, the phone didn't work, and the bathtub was so small that it was a challenge to fit in. The lack of a ceiling light and the overall cleanliness were major letdowns.
The resort had its ups and downs. The rooms were just enough for two people, but upgrading to a larger space cost a hefty amount. The presence of cockroaches and ants, along with a malfunctioning phone and small bathtub, made the stay less than ideal. The air conditioning was not great and there were maintenance issues with leaks. Service fell short as some staff members were indifferent and not welcoming, even disturbing guests while using the bathroom. However, the location was convenient to explore the downtown area and interact with the local culture and amenities, though certain parts needed improvement.
